S&P 500 and NASDAQ futures -3.50 and -5.80 at 7:35 EDT. Brent Crude is at $81.26 from $80.28 with gold at $1130 from $1122 and natural gas at $5.94 from $5.73. The Up Dollar ETF (UUP) closed at $22.85 down by -0.26%. Currencies see the Yen at 93.11 from 92.03 with the Pound at .63 from .62 and Euro at .70 from .69. The 20 Year Treasury ETF (TLT) closed at $89.18 lower by -1.34%. High yield bonds rose while corporate investment grade bonds fell. News of note China tightens rates indicating some tightening. This is similar to what we saw in June of 2009. Bank of England leaves rates unchanged. Costco (COST) beats December same store sales estimates.
