Obama Administration To Propose Bank Tax on Top 50 Banks

Asia higher except for the Hang Seng and Europe higher. S&P 500 and NASDAQ futures higher by 0.40 and -3.50 at 7:25 EDT. Brent Crude is at $78.30 from $78.64 with gold at $1136 from $1134 and natural gas at $5.73 from $5.54. The Up Dollar ETF (UUP) closed at $22.70 lower by -0.09%. Currencies see the Yen at 91.83 from 91.77 with the Pound at .62 from .61 and Euro at .69. The 20 Year Treasury ETF (TLT) closed at $89.27 lower by -1.16%. High yield bonds higher and corporate investment grade bonds lower. News of note this morning Obama Bank Levy to target 50 banks. Yahoo hit by Cyber attacks in China just like Google. Greece to cut spending. World Economic Forum says China overheating poses risks to recovery. More...
