Short interest numbers for the NYSE are reported for the period of settlement date January 29th. The NYSE saw short interest increase to 13,494,975,619 from 13,343,634,678 which is revised. Beware of Greek Bearing Bonds

Asia and Europe higher. S&P 500 and NASDAQ futures higher by 3.00 and 4.50 at 7:45 EST. Brent Crude is at $72.12 from $70.77 with gold at $1079.90 from $1072 and natural gas at $5.35 from $5.44. The Up Dollar ETF (UUP) closed at $23.49 lower by -0.63%. Currencies see the Yen at 89.68 from 89.65 with the Pound at .64 and Euro at .73. The 20 Year Treasury ETF (TLT) closed at $91.19 lower by -1.00%. High yield bonds higher and corporate investment grade bonds lower.
