This is our weekly portfolio update. Profits will be taken on Hormel (HRL) as consumer stocks ex Apple (AAPL) are really struggling here as the thought of a double dip takes hold. We do not buy into the double dip as we will explain later this week but the recent weakness in stock cannot be ignored. Cash moves to 42%. More...

Futures Are Weak This Morning

Asia and Europe lower. S&P 500 and NASDAQ 100 futures are lower by -14.00 and -26.25. Brent Crude is at $75.86 from $77.43 with gold at $1237 from $1258 and natural gas at $4.69 from $4.82. The Up Dollar ETF (UUP) closed at $24.96 higher by 0.52%. Currencies see the Yen at 88.80 from 89.36 with the Pound at .66 and Euro at .82 from .81. The 20 Year Treasury ETF (TLT) closed at $99.98 flat for the day. High yield bonds and corporate investment grade bonds rose. More...
